PRE-PRESS: Direct-to-Plate Technology

NETWORK INFRASTUCTURE

CRW Graphics utilizes Windows 2003® file servers, 4108GL, HP Procurve Gigibit Ethernet switches, and over 1.3 Terabytes of RAID storage to provide efficient workflow for all digital pre-press functions. Robotic tape back-up and DVD subsystems enable us to archive
materials for future use and repurpose data to produce custom
CD-ROMS and DVD media.  Floppy diskettes, Zip, Jaz, CD-ROM and DVD media are all supported at CRW Graphics.

TELECOMMUNICATIONS & SECURITY

Symantec Enterprise firewall to protect and support our on-line services. Additionally we utilize:

• (2) Full T-1 Connections to Internet
• Windows 2000® Server for FTP

ASSEMBLY WORKSTATIONS

CRW Graphics maintains over 90 networked Macintosh G5, Windows 2000® computers and Windows 2003 servers for processing client files, custom composition and disk intervention. Our sophisticated retouching and image enhancement are the finest in the industry.

As authorized Adobe developers we offer the complete Adobe Font Library as well as support for: Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, PageMaker, Acrobat, QuarkXPress, MacroMedia Freehand, Microsoft Publisher and virtually all other major design-oriented software programs.

Creo Synapse UpFront job planning software is used to create a more efficient link between our job planners and prepress.
