The 2007 Mural Calendar represents the collaborative efforts of the City of Philadelphia Mural Arts program and the Department of Human Services (DHS) to give voice to children through art.

In 1997 the Mural Arts Program and DHS embarked on their first collaboration – an eight-week after school workshop on the fundamentals of mural history and technique. That initial program has expanded to include four full-scale programs serving thousands of youths each year.

CRW Graphics was selected by Sappi North American Printers as one of their printers of the year for the 2005 Mural Arts Calendar. The 2007 calendar will also be entered in this year’s contest.
